Watch the virtual launch of the Tomorrow's Engineers Code

The virtual launch of the Tomorrow's Engineers Code is available to watch again here.

Online workshop programme

Last spring Signatories came together to discuss how The Code Community could facilitate effective collaboration and what issues should be tackled as a priority. Clear themes and priorities emerged that will be implemented over the next 12 months including drawing together specific data sets so Signatories can understand where their activities can have the biggest impact and exploring how we can link together Signatories to collaborate.

Workshop programme

Following on from the success of the collaboration workshops, we’ve developed an online workshops programme, allowing The Code Community to hear from other Signatories and experts on topics that are relevant to them.

Top tips for delivering engineering outreach in primary

Lucy Owen, Education Manager of FIRST LEGO League at the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), will share top tips for providers looking to deliver engineering outreach programmes in primary schools. Lucy has worked in many different education settings and will draw from her experience to share best practice on how to engage with primary students about engineering, what works for different ages, and what teachers need from an outreach provider. We will also hear from other guests who will share their own stories of working with younger students, and there will be time for a Q&A with our speakers.

When: Tuesday 28th June 11.00am-12.00pm, on Microsoft Teams
