Watch the virtual launch of the Tomorrow's Engineers Code

The virtual launch of the Tomorrow's Engineers Code is available to watch again here.

Online workshop programme

Collaboration programme

Last spring Signatories came together to discuss how The Code Community could facilitate effective collaboration and what issues should be tackled as a priority. Clear themes and priorities emerged that will be implemented over the next 12 months including drawing together specific data sets so Signatories can understand where their activities can have the biggest impact and exploring how we can link together Signatories to collaborate.

Workshop programme

Following on from the success of the collaboration workshops, we’ve developed an online workshops programme, allowing The Code Community to hear from other Signatories and experts on topics that are relevant to them.

The Code Events

Through The Code we aim to improve the quality, inclusivity, targeting and reach of activities designed to inspire young people into engineering. We will be delivering a series of collaborative events with the Community to support with improving our collective knowledge and understanding and to maximise impact.

Over the next few months we will be inviting The Code members to more events including:

Applying an Impact Framework Webinar

At this webinar EngineeringUK’s Head of Research, Steph Neave, and Senior Research and Impact Manager, Mollie Bourne will take you through an impact framework model for engineering outreach. We will also share insights on how the framework has been applied to a current engineering outreach programme. You will then have the opportunity to collaborate with other Signatories and Supporters in facilitated breakout rooms where you will discuss questions and ideas about how the impact framework could be applied to your own programmes.

Date: Monday 28 June
Time: 10:30 to 12:00

Virtual Work Experience Webinar

At this webinar we will share with you some key learnings on design and delivery of engineering focused virtual work experience. We will share insights gathered via EngineeringUK’s Virtual Work Experience Working Group and showcase virtual work experience programmes that members of the Code Community are delivering, to share and build understanding about what works. In break-out sessions there will be the opportunity for participants to discuss key challenges, successes and ideas, in relation to delivery of virtual work experience.

Date: Thursday 15 July
Time: 10:30 to 12:00

More information about these and how to sign up will be sent directly to members of The Code. If you would like to find out more, please contact us at
